My entry for the #letsbuildtheforce contest by @brickhuntress (Kate).

We find our Heroes recently landed at Daro only to find a fresh squad of TK units patrolling the forest. Hunter flanks from behind while the rest of the 99 prepares for a high ground ambush.

After just finishing the Clone Wars series again and rewatching Bad Batch for the second time, I felt it was a good idea to make it a Daro MOC.

There are a few firsts here for me:

I came up with a new technique as fill by using the green claw pieces. I bought 500 of them for the Winter Village but only a handful ended up getting used, and I needed a clever way of filling ground space. So I took the big leaves and filled them with claws. They take up good amounts of space and look like grass.

This is my first MILS plate that I used for what it's intended for, which is landscaping. I should've taken advantage of the brick space by adding water, more elevation, and holes, but next time! The rockface techniques are also new for me.

The bunker is obviously a take on ROTJ's Endor bunker. Which is what I originally planned this moc for. I had a custom ATST and everything ready to go but scrapped it for clone wars instead. I didn't want to waste a good bunker so I did end up using it here. The roof was done in a clutch to finish in time and I wanted it to be more built into the landscape, but it's modular, at least. I had fun trying to find a way to make the angled walls work in this one. I just didn't have enough time to do what I wanted with it totally, but I think it looks ok.

I also wanted it kind of modular in multiple ways. So not only does it work side by side, but it can be moved to work on the other end (see pictures). The roof pops off too, but it's not finished.

Lastly, I threw in the Bonsai tree, because it makes for such a good general tree for just about anything. I did make a handful of changes, but otherwise, it fit perfectly. Next time I want to build some giant redwoods!

Mrs.Moon said I had to do this one, and felt like it would be a great challenge, plus I haven't seen hardly any Pirates-themed habitats so far.

This scene...and the one just a few minutes before it is one of my favorites in all of Star Wars. Both are emotionally and powerfully strong, both in meaning and in retrospect of the entire Clone Wars series.

It's what cemented me as a Star Wars fan even though I had watched all the previous movies up to that point.

I tried adding as much detail as I could for such a small scene being so minimal. It was important to me that the helmet is "buried" and that Darth's footprints were left behind as he walked up to the lightsaber.
